About the event
We will be continuing our 2024 whisky tasting programme with a focus on what we believe is the most exciting whisky region in Scotland at the moment, The Lowlands. The whisky industry is currently experiencing a time of great expansion both in popularity of whisky itself as well as new builds of distilleries. No region is seeing as much new build activity currently as the Lowland region. We'll be exploring some of the wonderful drams emerging from that region.
The tasting will start at 7:30pm and be held in the Prince Rupert Hotel Shrewsbury. The Prince Rupert is situated a few minutes walk from our shop on Butchers Row in the heart of the town. We will be utilising a large room in the hotel with ample space to seat all guests.
There will be 24 places for the evening and cost £30 per person. Tickets should be booked in advance either in the shop or by calling the shop on 01743 369429 (we can take card payments over the phone). Please note that tickets cannot be purchased or reserved via email.
