Whisky Tasting Fri 5th May - Independent Bottling Nirvana

Here at Wrekin Whiskies, we love a good independent bottling. Whether it's a Discovery release or Connoisseurs Choice from Gordon and MacPhail, A Carn Mor from Morrisons (not the supermarket!) or something exotic from Laing's, we all get really quite giddy with excitement. Why you may well ask? Well Independent bottlings are allways rather interesting and exciting, fusing the skill of the original distiller with that of a company that specialises in the maturation of whisky to create something just a little different and quite special.

The tasting will start at 7:30pm and be held in the Prince Rupert Hotel Shrewsbury. The Prince Rupert is situated a few minutes walk from our shop on Butchers Row in the heart of the town. We will be utilising a large room in the hotel with ample space to seat all guests. There will be 24 places for the evening and cost £25 per person. Tickets should be booked in advance either in the shop or by calling the shop on 01743 369429 (we can take card payments over the phone).
